It is #3 in the series and lists to self on copyright page but lists to 'The Mystery of the Locked Room' on dust jacket, which indicates a 1938 printing. In this story, "the Danas help a poor hunchbacked girl." The purple cloth boards are bright with crisp black titling and decoration on front board and spine. Pages are clean.. The green top edge color is bright, with light shelf-wear. There is a slight lean to spine. The dust jacket is in fair to poor condition with most of the back panel missing.
