The boards are covered in green cloth with gold-gilt decorations and titling. Same on spine. Top edge is gilt. Corners are firm and square There is light soiling to back board. There are no previous owne names or other markings in the book. It is clean and tight. The author was one of the first feminists. Ideala was published in 1888 and we believe this pulication is about that time. This was her first successful novel. She was active in politics and women's issues until her death.
