This is not really a calendar. This is a wonderful collection of 12 beautiful 8x10 tipped-in plates illustrating Beatrix Potter characters. The plates are tipped to colored paper and all bound between illustrated blue paper wraps and tied at the top with blue yarn. Titles are: Mrs. Rabbit goes to market; Jeremy Fisher untying his boat; Peter and Benjamin watched by four mice; Mrs.Tiggy-Winkle ironing; Hunca-Munca disappointed by the cannisters; Mrs. Rabbit buttoning Peter's coat; Benjhamin spies Peter's ears; Lady Mouse elaborately attired;Rabbits and Onions; Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle hanging up the washing; Two Mice look at the world and Snowy street. The wraps show some creasing and very light fading. The illustrations are 'as new'. This scarce item is a splendid addtion to any Potter collection
